PATTERN

NOTE: The bag is worked in circle with 2 strands of yarn.

Base:

Ch 23
Round 1: dc in 4th ch from hook (ch 3 counts as dc now and throughout the base), 18 dc, 5 dc in las ch, working on opposite side of beg ch; 18 dc, 3 dc in las sp. Join with sl st to 3rd ch. (46)

Round 2: Ch 3, 1 dc in same sp, 18 dc, 5 dc inc, 18 dc, 4 dc inc. Join with sl st to 3rd ch. (56)

Round 3: Ch 3, 1 dc inc, 18 dc, (1 dc, 1 dc inc) 5 times, 18 dc, (1 dc, 1 dc inc) 4 times. Join with sl st to 3rd ch. (66)

Round 4: Ch 3, 1 dc, 1 dc inc, 18 dc, (2 dc, 1 dc inc) 5 times, 18 dc, (2 dc, 1 dc inc) 4 times. Join with sl st to 3rd ch. (76)

Round 5: Ch 3, 2 dc, 1 dc inc, 18 dc, (3 dc, 1 dc inc) 5 times, 18 dc, (3 dc, 1 dc inc) 4 times. Join with sl st to 3rd ch. (86)

Round 6: Ch 2 (doesn’t count as stitch), 86 dc blo.

Rounds 7 – 15: ch 2, 86 dc.

Round 16: Ch 2, 14 dc, ch 36, skip 16 sp, 28 dc, ch 35, skip 16 sp, 14 dc. (56 dc and 70 ch) 

Round 17: Ch 1, sc on each sp and sc in each ch. (126)
Fasten off and wave in ends.

Make another base repeating rounds 1 through 5 and without fasten off join to the first base with sl st on free loops of round 6. Fasten off and wave in ends.
